We are expanding our creative team and seeking talented Video Editors in Nepal to help us produce compelling video content that visually communicates our mission and values.

The Role:

As a Video Editor at Preboard, you will play a crucial role in bringing our brand story to life through dynamic and engaging video content. You will work closely with our marketing, content, and HR teams to produce a variety of videos, including:

  • Promotional and marketing videos
  • Educational and explainer videos for our platform
  • Employee spotlight and testimonial videos
  • Internal communication videos
  • Social media content

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality, and engaging videos that align with Preboard's brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Work collaboratively with content creators, marketers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver on creative vision.
  • Apply advanced editing techniques, including color correction/grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
  • Ensure consistency in visual style, branding, and messaging across all video outputs.
  • Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and archiving.
  • Incorporate feedback effectively and iterate on video edits to meet project objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing software, and video production techniques.
  • Optimize videos for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media, website) with appropriate formats and resolutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video editing capabilities across various styles.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Photoshop is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of video production workflows, from pre-production to post-production.
  • Excellent eye for detail, visual storytelling, pacing, and timing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and interpret feedback effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for producing high-quality video content.
  • Knowledge of sound design and audio mixing principles.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and basic animation.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience in creating content for HR technology or corporate communication.
  • Understanding of Australian business culture and communication styles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
